This morning, I had the pleasure of joining the dedicated members of Friends of Solihull Station for their bi-weekly litter pick-up initiative. Experiencing firsthand the community spirit in action was inspiring. The collaborative effort made evident that when we work in unison, we can significantly elevate the environment around us.
For numerous visitors who choose rail as their mode of transport, the station serves as their introduction to our lovely town. Ensuring it leaves a positive, clean, and welcoming impression is paramount. Today's efforts have truly paid off in ensuring just that. The station looks pristine and inviting.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Friends of Solihull Station for their unwavering dedication and hard work in this initiative. Their passion for a cleaner and better station is commendable. I am genuinely looking forward to collaborating with them again and participating in more litter pick-up sessions in the near future.
