Potholes are one of the most concerning issues at the moment however please be assured that the Highways Department at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council are working hard to fix issues in the borough, however, the issues have to be prioritised and therefore it may take a little time to get to some areas.
I reported the potholes on Whitefields Road as they are of concern due to the potential hazard they pose not only to vehicles but also to pedestrians. The Highways Department have inspected the area and acknowledged the need for urgent repairs. The works will be carried out on the week of 16th April, weather permitting.
I urge all residents in St Alphege to remain vigilant and report any similar infrastructure concerns. If you notice potholes or any other maintenance issues, please do not hesitate to send me an email with a picture of the concern. Your proactive engagement is crucial in helping us maintain the safety and integrity of our local environment.
