Securing the funding

Part 3:

To propel the Malven Park Project forward, we needed to tap into the CIL Funds designated for such community initiatives. It's worth noting that organizations within the St Alphege Ward can apply for these CIL Funds for their individual projects. Hence, it wasn't unexpected to learn that we weren't the sole applicants vying for this financial support. Given the competition, I believed it was crucial for the Council Officers to be fully apprised of the dedication and effort we had poured into our project and to grasp the significant positive impact the funds would have on our  community.

In light of this, I took the initiative to address the Stronger Communities and Neighbourhood Services Scrutiny Board. My intent was to champion our project, shed light on the tireless work undertaken since May 22, and underscore the critical importance of securing the funds for the betterment of our community.
