Part 2:
Following our productive meeting with the Council Officers in August, I'm pleased to report that we have received two quotations as of today. These encompass a comprehensive set of improvements: a significant play apparatus for the park's central zone, additional swings, a see-saw, an extended activity trail, new equipment to take the place of the trampoline section, and replacements for the current fencing and gates.
We are diligently navigating the CIL application process with the aim of securing the requisite funds to bring these improvements to fruition.
The attached photographs depict the park's current state of wear and tear. It's evident that our community deserves, and indeed urgently requires, these proposed upgrades.
