Local St Alphage Councillor, Samantha Gethen, has achieved yet another milestone in her commitment to community enhancement by successfully securing funds for the much-anticipated Malvern Park play area revamp. This move promises to elevate the already Green Flag award-winning park to greater heights.
Cllr. Samantha Gethen said:
“Malvern Park, a proud recipient of the Green Flag award, symbolises the continuous dedication we have to improving our community spaces. Since my election in May 2022, I’ve been deeply involved with the Malvern Park play area project. The playground had shown signs of wear and tear, and I made it my mission to transform it into a space where families would flock, and where children could play safely and joyfully."
"I envisioned a play area that would mirror the high standards of our Green Flag award. Today, as I look around, I feel immense pride in what we have achieved. The rejuvenated park is not just a recreational space, but a beacon of what community collaboration and passion can accomplish."
The refurbished play area, now brimming with state-of-the-art equipment and a modern design, is set to be Solihull’s haven for its young residents.
